Popular cooking reality show, Masterchef, has been adapted to four languages of India. The shooting schedules for the Telugu and Tamil versions of the show have begun, which are being hosted by Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Sethupathi, respectively. While the shoot with the contestants is yet to commence, the two stars have come together to complete the promotional video first.
In an earlier interview with Koimoi, Tamannaah shared her excitement and said that she is really passionate about cooking and food. “Owing to my chaotic shooting schedules, I’ve never been able to fully commit myself to the love for culinary creativity,” the actress added.
The Baahubali star also mentioned that she loves to cook for her family and friends and added, “I can’t wait to treat myself to all the exotic culinary delights on set. It’s going to be extremely exciting and gratifying.”
The Kannada and Malayalam version of the show will be hosted by Kiccha Sudeep and Prithviraj Sukumaran, respectively. The rights for all four versions of Masterchef has been reserved by Sun TV Network
Tamannaah is also busy filming the Anil Ravipudi directorial F3: Fun and Frustration, the sequel of F2: Fun and Frustration, that stars Venkatesh, Varun Tej and Mehreen Pirzada.
Meanwhile, Sethupathi is busy with several upcoming projects. His next OTT release is likely to be Tughlaq Durbar that also has Parthiban, Raashi Khanna and Manjima Mohan. The ongoing Masterchef Australia season 13 can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
