Tamannaah Bhatia: Jee Karda offers a reflection of the lives we lead

Jee Karda is the upcoming slice-of-life drama series starring Tamannaah Bhatia, Suhail Nayyar, Aashim Gulati, and Anya Singh. The makers dropped the official trailer a few days ago, which garnered immense praise from fans, while now the Lust Stories actress has spilt beans about this Amazon Prime show.

Talking about Jee Karda and its characters, Tamannaah shared in a recent statement that she deeply relates to all the characters of this romantic drama show as they face many challenges during their teenage as well as adulting phase including the most common of them, which is peer pressure. 

"This show provides a sneak peek into the lives of people dealing with the trials and tribulations of adulting, showcasing how they navigate through it all. At its core, Jee Karda is a fun slice of life with a touch of drama, offering a reflection of the lives we lead," the gorgeous actress mentioned.

Tamannaah's character Lavanya navigates through her teenage, mid-20s and early 30s and explores her life with a group of close friends in school, college and as an adult.

Earlier this week, makers release the fun official trailer with a special caption that unveils that the series chronicles the tale of a few millennials, who try to find themselves and seek out each other to handle dating woes, ghosting, toxic relationships, breakups, daddy issues, space constraints, class divisions, family secrets and more.

Directed by Arunima Sharma and bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, the upcoming series is co-written by Hussain Dalal, Arunima Sharma and Abbas Dalal and also features Sayan Banerjee, and Samvedna Suwalka, Simone Singh and Malhar Thakar along with Hussain in key roles.

Jee Karda releases on June 15 on Amazon Prime Video.
