Udhayanidhi Stalin is back with his next, the thriller Kalaga Thalaiavan. The trailer and teaser of the film, helmed by Magizh Thirumeni has already piqued the curiosity among fans. The film also stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Arav Nafeez and Kalaiyarasan and has music by Srikanth Deva and Arrol Corelli.
The team had recently organised a special screening for Udhayanidhi's father, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and Udhayanidhi's mother Durga Stalin. Udhayanidhi's parents watched the film with the team at the screening in Chennai. And according to a press note, MK Stalin is said to have been all praise for the team for taking up a subject addressing a social cause.
Maiden collaboration between Udhayanidhi Stalin and Magizh Thirumeni
Udhayanidhi and Magizh were supposed to team up for the director's previous venture Thadam, which eventually starred Arun Vijay. Kalaga Thalaivan's plot is said to revolve around a crucial issue. Udhayanidhi's character is said to be that of a financial analyst, whose world is turned upside down after a brutal murder.
Magizh Thirumeni is back with a thriller
Magizh Thirumeni is known for his thrillers like Thadaiyara Thaaka, Meaghamann and Thadam. All the action thrillers won praise for their unique twist and turns and this one, too, is expected to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller.
Nidhhi Agerwal is back after Eeswaran
Nidhhi Agerwal, who shot to fame after making her debut in Silambarasan's Eeswaran is back and Kalaga Thalaivan will mark her maiden collaboration with Udhayanidhi. It is said that the plot will revolve around her character.
Arav Nafeez as the antagonist
The trailer gave us a peek of the former Bigg Boss season one winner as a ruthless baddies who would go any length to get things done for him. It would be interesting to see the actor as a villain after witnessing him as a lead actor. Kalaiyarasan, too, will be seen as a supporting character in the film.
