The Tamil industry will be witnessing its glorious time ahead, with some of the big projects in the making. Inga Naan Thaan Kingu

Santhanam headlines this dark comedy drama, which is directed by Anand Narayan. The film stars a host of comedians, including Thambi Ramaiah, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, the late Manobala, Vivek Prasanna, Maran, Cool Suresh and others. Inga Naan Thaan Kingu will feature debutant Priyalaya as the female lead. The film will revolve around the central character played by Santhanam who is in search for a bride.

Thalaimai Seyalagam

Thalaimai Seyalagam is an upcoming Tamil political drama series written and directed by filmmaker Vasanthabalan. The film is headlined by actor Kishore and also stars various known faces, including Sriya Reddy, Bharath, Ramya Nambessan, Aditya Menon, Kani Kusruti, Niroop Nandakumar, Darsha Gupta, Sarah Black, Siddharth Vipin, YGM, Santhana Bharathi, Kavitha Bharathi and others. It is backed by actors Radikaa Sarathkumar and R Sarathkumar under their production house banner, Radaan Mediaworks India Limited.

Kalvan

Kalvan is a rural drama starring GV Prakash Kumar and Ivana in the lead roles, with Bharathiraja and Dheena appearing in supporting characters. The film is directed by PV Shankar and is about two petty thieves who live in the forest regions. One of them wants to become a forest officer and in order to get the money for the job, he orchestrates a plan that involves adopting an old man from an hospice.

Election 

Uriyadi-fame Vijay Kumar has joined hands with director Thamizh who helmed Seththumaan for Election. Touted to be a political drama, the film also stars Preethi Asrani and Pavel Navageethan in supporting characters, along with Richa Joshi, George Maryan, and others. Govind Vasantha has scored the music for the film.

Star is directed by Elan of Pyaar Prema Kaadhal-fame and is headlined by Kavin. The upcoming film is an underdog story of a boy who aspires to make it big in the movie industry as an actor. The film has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and also features actors Lal, Geetha Kailasam, Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundhan and others. Star is produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Rise East Entertainment.

Rasavathi

Romeo

Romeo is a romantic drama starring actors Vijay Antony and Mirnalini Ravi in the lead roles. Directed by Vinayak Vaithianathan, the film features the lead actors as a newly married couple whose marriage took place much against the wishes of the wife even though the husband is very much in love. With the wife aspiring to be an actor, the husband decides to produce her film on the condition that he will play the hero.

The Boys

The Boys is a comedy drama directed by Santhosh Peter Jayakumar and revolves around the care-free lives of five male roommates. The director has played the lead role along with a cast comprising of Sha Ra, Arshad, KPY Vinoth, Yuvaraj Ganesan, and Redin Kingsley.

Aranmanai 4

Aranmanai 4 is the fourth installment in the horror comedy franchise created by Sundar C. Aranmanai 4 will revolve around a folklore Baak and how a certain family is impacted by it.

The film revolves around a mother's efforts to save her daughter from an obstacle. Kurangu Pedal

Kurangu Pedal is a rural drama featuring a boy's attempts to learn how to ride a bicycle. The film is directed by Kamalakannan and is backed by Sivakarthikeyan, Savitha Shanmugam and SuMee Baskaran. Kurangu Pedal was screened at the Indian Panorama section of the 53rd International Film Festival of India, Goa.
