Tanaav teaser: Manav Vij leaves you intrigued in this grisly tale about Kashmir

Manav Vij is back and he is impressive as an actor once again. Seen in the recently released Tanaav teaser, Manav will capture your interest with his various sides. The grisly tale about Kashmir also sees Arbaaz Khan as one of the leads.

It promises not only Manav’s intriguing role but also a plotline that would focus on the politics and the fragile state in Kashmir. Here, we see innocent people – with kids, who are about to meet their lover and people who just wanted to have some good time away from home. “Two sides of the same story,” is what the teaser of Sudhir Mishra’s next promises to deliver.

The end of the teaser also promises something heartbreaking. Here, we see a child crying as his mother is shot in the riot.

Tanaav is based on the real-life incident in Kashmir in 2017. This was the time of unrest in Kashmir – the Burhan aftermath. The unrest began after Indian security forces killed the commander of Islamist militant group Hizbul Mujahideen’s Burhan Wani.

The web series also stars Sumit Kaul, Rajat Kapoor, Shashank Arora, Zarina Wahab, Ekta Kaul, Waluscha De Sousa, Danish Hussain, Satyadeep Mishra, Sukhmani Sadana, Sahiba Bali, Amit Gaur, Arslan Goni, Rockey Raina, M.K. Raina, Sheen Dass and Aryaman Seth in pivotal roles.

Tanaav, produced by Applause Entertainment, is a Sony LIV original series. It has been directed by Sudhir along with Sachin Mamta Krishn and will be available on the platform soon.
