Tantra is a showreel of my talent and will prove what I am capable of as an actor, says Ananya Nagalla

Tantra is young heroine Ananya Nagalla's latest film which is all set to hit the screens on March 15, 2024. Directed by Srinivas Gopisetti, Tantra is based on the concept of black magic and has Ananya in the role of a village belle. The young actress has pinned a lot of hopes on this film to make a comeback in Tollywood. 

As the film is up for release soon, Ananya speaks about her role in the horror thriller. The corporate employee-turned-actress says that when director Srinivas narrated the script, she thought it would be yet another film with horror and black magic as its backdrop and would be narrated routinely.

"The story kept shocking me every ten minutes and whatever I was thinking in mind that this would happen, exactly the opposite happened. I right away okayed the film and as my character was headlining the film, there was no reason to say no to the film," says Ananya.

When asked about the basic concept of the film, Ananya says, "My character is scared of darkness but at the same time, she has the habit of waking in her sleep. What happens when a Tantrik approaches her with evil thoughts and how a person with such fear faces him is the story of the film".

Srinivas Gopisetti has made to keep the film in the news as one bold lip lock scene from the film has gone viral on social media. Ananya Nagalla made her debut with the award-winning film Mallesham alongside Priyadarshi. She then played one of the main heroines in Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab.

Now, after a long gap, she is testing her luck with Tantra. Ananya has gone bold and is showcasing a new side of her on social media. She has pinned all her hopes on this film and says Tantra is like a showreel of her talent and will showcase what she is capable of as an actor.
