Tasnia Farin gets a surprise ‘gift’ from Kolkata’s cab driver. Here are the details

Tasnia Farin’s strong performance in Karagar, Ladies & Gentlemen, and Aaro Ek Prithibi, was praised by viewers and critics alike. She recently acted in the film Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya which went viral on social media. She has recently bagged awards for her performance in Atanu Ghosh’s film Aaro Ek Prithibi, which was released last year. During her trip to Kolkata, she had a unique experience, which she shared on social media. 

Tasnia wrote about her conversation with a cab driver in Kolkata. She asked the driver his daughter’s name and was surprised to know that her daughter’s name was Tasnia Farin. The kid is in class three and is aged eight and a half. Initially, she was named Rafia Sultana, matching with her father’s name Raquib. But the cab driver became the actress’s fan and hence, changed her daughter’s name. The cab driver further added that Farin’s acting with Apurbo is his favorite. 

The actress told Bangladeshi media, “I got the driver from the hotel where I stayed in Kolkata. I roamed in his car the entire day. It feels good to hear about his daughter’s change of name. These incidents inspire me to do more good work.” 

Tasnia recently got married to her long-term boyfriend, Shaikh Rezwan. In a recent interview with OTTplay, the actress confessed that her life remained all the same as her husband stays in the UK and she works in Bangladesh. Talking about her long-distance relationship, she said, “ have been in this relationship for a long time and I have been doing this for a long time. Every relationship is different. I think communication is the key. You need to be on the same page. I have been in this relationship and I got used to it. It works for me.”
