Swift expresses immense gratitude to her South American fans for joining her on Sunday, after the concert postponed on Friday due to bad weather
Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has created history by collecting billion-dollar already. It is an ongoing music tour that becomes the highest grossing tour ever by a female musician. It started from March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona, and will end on November 23, 2024, in Toronto, Canada.
The Eras Tour is Swift's second all-stadium tour after the 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour. The show spans over 3.5 hours, with a set list of 44 songs divided into 10 distinct acts that portray the albums conceptually. It received unanimous acclaim from critics, who emphasised its concept, production, aesthetics and immersive ambience, as well as Swift's musicianship, vocals, stamina, and versatility.
What is it about Eras Tour?
The concept of Eras Tour is autobiographical. Taylor looks back at her career, album by album, each of which she ascribes to a different 'era' in her life and each of which constitutes a segment of the show.
Taylor resumed her tour
After a hiatus for 2 months, Taylor has resumed her music tour from Argentina. Swift will perform in South America for the next 3 weekends. But due to bad weather the organisers had to cancel the show on Friday, and began on Sunday, November 11. During this 2 months of gap, Taylor attended several matches of Travis Kelce, and made memories with her new boyfriend.
Taylor expresses gratitude
Today Taylor took to her Instagram and expressed immense gratitude to her Argentina fans for attending the concert on Sunday, after getting cancelled on Friday. She shared that resuming her tour from Argentina was the best decision ever. She wrote that she has never been to Argentina, yet people have her the most magical memories.
Eras Tour movie
The Eras Tour movie also had a phenomenal run in theatres, with a collection of $240.91 million at the box office, worldwide. After Barbie and Oppenheimer, Eras Tour becomes the highest grossing movie of 2023.
