Team Dawsham Awbotaar fly kites to wish their fans on Vishwakarma Puja

It was Vishwakarma Puja in Bengal and Prosenjit Chatterjee geared up to fly kites – a ritual on the Puja. In a video shared by the actor, Prosenjit is seen throwing the kite, while Srijit Mukherji, captain of the team Dawshom Awbotaar, holds the spool by his side. Jaya Ahsan and Anirban Bhattacharya also joined the fight with kites.

Traditionally, Bengalis fly kites on Vishwakarma Puja. Hence Srijit, with his team, celebrated the day with kites. Anirban and Jaya were from time to time balancing the threads by holding the latai or the spool. Prosenjit shared those photos and wished everyone a happy Vishwakarma Puja.

Srijit Mukherji released the first looks of the Dawshom Awbotaar characters on September 6. Jisshu Sengupta, Prosenjit, Jaya, and Anirban shine in the poster with their looks. Netizens have given a thumbs up to the new poster and eagerly waiting to see Prabir Raychowdhury – Prosenjit Chatterjee’s character from Baishey Shrabon – on the big screen. 

Dawshom Awbotaar will be released during Durga Puja. Traditionally, it is the time when multiple Bengali films get released. Dev’s Bagha Jatin, Arindam Sil’s Jongole Mitin Masi, and Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Raktabeej will also be released during the same time.
