Tees Maar Khan director Kalyanji Gogana’s next titled Kalingaraju; here’s what we know!

Kalyanji Gogana made a mark for himself as a filmmaker who’s capable of handling diverse genres through his films like Natakam, Sundari and Tees Maar Khan in the past. Though the commercial entertainer Tees Maar Khan, starring Aadi Saikumar and Payal Rajput, didn’t perform on expected lines at the box office, the director has quickly moved onto a new project.

The title of Kalyanji’s next film was unveiled today. Interestingly, the film has been titled Kalingaraju. The film will be bankrolled by Ravikumar and I Ravi Kiran under Navayuga Entertainment. Neha Singh is the presenter of the film while Khushi of Rizwan Entertainment is the co-producer. Shekhar Neeloji will assume responsibility as an executive producer.

The lead actor for the film hasn’t been finalised yet. However, the makers suggest that a top actor is in the reckoning to come on board. Bal Reddy, the cinematographer who had also worked on Kayanji’s earlier film Tees Maar Khan, is also part of the crew. Renowned technician Chota K Prasad will be editing the film, the team announced.

Popular musician Suresh Bobbili is the composer of Kalingaraju. The film will officially go on floors soon, during which other details about the cast and crew will be revealed. Rakendu Mouli, son of well-known writer Vennelakanti, will be penning the dialogues. The title logo of Kalingaraju, meanwhile, shows us a Kathakali artiste at the forefront. The genre of the film isn’t known yet.

The director made his debut with the 2018 release Natakam, an action thriller that starred Ashish Gandhi and Ashima Narwal in the lead. The film is currently streaming on Youtube. His other film Sundari was a romantic thriller headlined by Purnaa and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Purnaa also had an extended appearance in Kalyanji’s Tees Maar Khan.
