After its grand premiere on Zee5 (OTTplay Premium), John Abraham's Tehran is now streaming on Netflix. The movie, based on the aftermath of Delhi's Parliament House attacks in 2012, aims to reach a global audience with the move. Tehran has now released on Netflix. The movie, which started streaming on Zee5 from August 14 to mark Independence Day, has now released on Netflix on August 27, which marks the beginning of Indian festival, Ganesh Chaturthi.

Tehran is the story of Special Cell officer ACP Rajeev Kumar (John Abraham) who went undercover in Tehran but was exposed. Owing to this, India deserted him. He now finds himself in the midst of betrayal, spies, and political agendas.
