After its grand premiere on Zee5 (OTTplay Premium), John Abraham's Tehran is now streaming on Netflix. The movie, based on the aftermath of Delhi's Parliament House attacks in 2012, aims to reach a global audience with the move. Will the John Abraham starrer really attract people from 190 countries though, is the question.
Tehran has now released on Netflix. The movie, which started streaming on Zee5 from August 14 to mark Independence Day, has now released on Netflix on August 27, which marks the beginning of Indian festival, Ganesh Chaturthi.

Tehran is the story of Special Cell officer ACP Rajeev Kumar (John Abraham) who went undercover in Tehran but was exposed. Owing to this, India deserted him. He now finds himself in the midst of betrayal, spies, and political agendas.
Apart from John Abraham in the role of ACP Rajeev Kumar, Neeru Bajwa plays Sheilaja, Manushi Chhillar is seen in the role of SI Divya Rana. The supporting starcast includes Madhurima Tuli as Rajeev Kumar's wife Vandana, Alyy Khan as Neeraj, and Elnaaz Norouzi as Layla.
