This Naveen Polishetty, Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Rahul Ramakrishna starrer was met with massive appreciation when it hit the theatres on March 11. Accumulating an estimated ₹75 crore at the box office within 13 days of its release, Jathi Ratnalu made its OTT debut with Amazon Prime Video.

Actor Naveen Polishetty, who was last seen in Chhichhore in 2019, has garnered widespread praise for his role as Jogipeth Srikant in Jathi Ratnalu. The film follows the three carefree men who arrive in the city of Hyderabad to lead a better life. Their plans are disrupted when they land up in jail for a crime they did not commit.

Directed by Anudeep and produced by Nag Ashwin, Jathi Ratnalu propelled to popularity even in the United States, becoming the first Indian film to exceed the $1M gross mark during the pandemic with only 50% occupancy in theatres.

Amazon Prime Video, having bagged the digital rights for Jathi Ratnalu, created a buzz of anticipation and excitement among fans. The film was one of the most anticipated, which is clear from the several memes being made on its scenes and characters.

Polishetty took to twitter to express his gratitude at the success of the film. "It was magical to see the #JathiRatnalu blockbuster experience in theatres. Be it Tirupati or Warangal or New York or California. I will remember the love you have given me. Thank you for spelling it out that we have a right to dream. Together we will make great things happen", tweeter the actor on April 11 with a video of him in a theatre post watching.

The film promises to be a highly entertaining tale with fresh dialogues and light-hearted comedy.
