A devotional drama, Karmayogi Sri Dharma Vyadhudi Charitra, elaborating on the essence of spirituality, aimed at the young audiences, is gearing up for a release on March 4. Ulkande Kar Muralidhar has produced the film under Sri Durga Bhavani Creations while GJ Raja has wielded the megaphone for the same. Vijay Bhaskar, Anusha, Ashok Kumar, Anand Bharathi and V Muralidhar essay crucial roles in the film that has music by Lakshman Sai. All the songs in the film have been rendered by late singer SP Balasubrahmanyam. Bhogi Kar Shyamala Jammu Raja is presenting the drama.
"Right from Jabilli to 6 Teens to Bathukamma, I've starred in many successful films as a supporting actor. I never got to play a role like this in my career and I'm quite happy to be playing the male lead. I couldn't have asked for more, starring in a devotional drama made with a good message for crowds. I thank the producer and the director for the opportunity," the lead actor Vijay Bhaskar said.
"The story is set in Mithila and revolves around Sri Dharma Vyadhudu, a renowned devotee of Lord Vishnu whose life is an inspiration for many. He claimed that there's no wrong in taking up any profession as long as they are grateful to the almighty. He always said that one could see Lord Shiva and Parvati through the eyes of their parents and I thank my producer for trusting me to tell such a fine story. I hope audiences like our effort," the director GJ Raja shared.
Composer Lakshman Sai, who associated with the director for a film titled Rojuko Roja in the past, added that the film is sure to give a new dimension to his career. "It's important that the message of respecting your parents reaches every Telugu household. The songs have shaped up very well and are easy on the ears. I am eager to know the audience's response to our film." The producer Ulkande Kar Muralidhar, actors Ashok Kumar, Anusha, Anand Bharathi and cinematographer P Devaraj also conveyed their gratitude to the makers and hoped for the film's success.
