Aditi Bhavaraju already established herself as a quality playback singer before entering the competition

Telugu OTT platform aha is going great guns with the popularity of its latest reality show, Telugu Indian Idol, that's doing a terrific job in unearthing the best singing talents across the globe. The reality show is already into its fourth week and the seventh episode had streamed yesterday. The show hosted by Sreerama Chandra with actress Nithya Menen, composer S Thaman and singer Karthik as the judges commenced on February 25.
Among the thousands of contestants who had registered for the auditions, the judges finalised the top 12 contestants previous week. aha, earlier today, has posted a video on its Youtube channel, showcasing the journey of singer Aditi Bhavaraju in the show to the top 12. For the uninitiated, Aditi Bhavaraju is already a popular playback singer who surprised everyone by enrolling for Telugu Indian Idol, claiming that she wanted to build her own brand as a musician with the show.
In the video, Aditi Bhavaraju claims that music is so integral to her life, much like water for saplings. Later, we see her coming to Telugu Indian Idol, singing her first number on the show, Coco Cola Pepsi from Venky Mama, incidentally composed by S Thaman himself. The judges are instantly impressed by her singing prowess but Nithya Menen asks her a question, 'Why do you need Telugu Indian Idol when you're already a singer', to which Aditi responds, 'People know my songs well, I want them to know me through the show.'
Aditi is also given the prestigious golden mic by the judges for her performance. Moving ahead in the show and during the elimination round for the top 12 contestants, Aditi had sung Asalem Gurtukuraadu from Antahapuram, which also managed to win the hearts of everyone. Jai Balayya (from Akhanda), Hola Hola (from Iddari Lokam Okate) and Tholakari Chinukula (from Amrutharamam) are some of Aditi's popular film songs to date apart from Coco Cola Pepsi.
