With the summer season coming to a close and a slew of biggies set to release from the second half of June (Adipurush to begin with), several small/medium budget films are testing their fortunes at the box office. This weekend, there’s an impressive mix of genres for Telugu viewers both in theatres and on OTT. Are you ready with your popcorn tubs already?

Theatrical releases

Nenu Student Sir

Stars Bellamkonda Ganesh, Avantika Dassani, Samuthirakani, Sunil and others, directed by Rakhi Uppalapati and has story by filmmaker Krishna Chaitanya. Produced by Naandhi fame Satish Varma and has music by Mahati Swara Sagar.

Pareshan

Thiruveer, Pavani Karanam, Bunny Abiran, Sai Prasanna, Arjun Krishna, Shruthi Riyan, Buddarakhan Ravi, Raju Bedigela play key roles in the film directed by Rupak Ronaldson and presented by Rana Daggubati.

Ahimsa

Abhiram Daggubati, Geethika play the lead roles in the film written and directed by Teja. Sadaa, Manoj Tiger, Kamal Kamaraju and others are cast in other important roles. Produced by Kiran and has music by RP Patnaik.

Chakravyuham

Ajay, Gnaneswari, Vivek Trivedi, Urvashi Pardeshi, Pragya Nayan, Shubalekha Sudhakar, Rajeev Kanakala play the lead roles in the film directed by Chetkuri Madhusudhan and produced by Sahasra Creations.

OTT releases

Ramabanam (June 3)

Stars Gopichand, Khushbu, Dimple Hayathi, Jagapathi Babu, Nasser and others. Written by Bhupathi Raja and directed by Sriwass, the film, produced by People Media Factory, has music by Mickey J Meyer.

Ugram

Stars Allari Naresh, Mirnaa, Indraja in lead roles. Written by Toom Venkat, directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, the film is produced by Shine Screens and has music by Sricharan Pakala.

Vishwak

Ajay Kathurvar and Dimple play the lead roles in the film directed by Venu Mulkala. Thatikonda Anandam Bala Krishan has bankrolled the film under Golden Duck Productions.
