Telusu Kada: Siddu Jonnalagadda’s next with Raashii Khanna, Srinidhi Shetty formally launched

Siddu Jonnalagadda, who’s simultaneously shooting for Tillu Square, the sequel to DJ Tillu and director Bommarillu Bhaskar’s next, has signed a new film, Telusu Kada. The project will mark the directorial debut of popular stylist and costume designer Neeraja Kona. The film has two female leads, Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty, and a concept video of the same was unveiled by the makers recently.

Telusu Kada is bankrolled by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory, the banner that backed films like Karthikeya 2, Dhamaka, Ramabanam, and Bro. Neeraja Kona has also written the story of the film. The film was formally launched today with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad in the presence of the cast and crew. Several dignitaries from the film industry graced the film launch.

While Hi Nanna star Nani was the chief guest, sounding the clapboard for the first shot, actors Nithiin and Aadhi Pinisetty formally handed over the script to the team. Waltair Veerayya maker Bobby switched on the camera, with Harish Shankar directing the first shot. Directors Nandini Reddy, Vakkantham Vamsi, Bommarillu Bhaskar, Mallik Ram, writer Kona Venkat, and producers S Naga Vamsi and Vijayender Reddy were part of the event.

There’s a fabulous technical team that has come on board for Telusu Kada. S Thaman, who’s awaiting the release of Bhagavanth Kesari this week, is the composer. Popular technician Yuvraj J cranks the camera, and Sreekar Prasad is the editor. Archana Rao is the costume designer, and Avinash Kolla is the production designer, respectively. Vivek Kuchibhotla is the co-producer.

The film will go on the floor shortly. The concept video promises a feel-good romance drama shot on a lavish scale, with a connection to food. Krithi Prasad is the creative producer, and Bharadwaj Munimanikyam and Mithun Chaitanya are the co-writers. S Venkatarathnam is the executive producer. Krishna Chaitanya had written the lyrics for the concept video, sung by Ravi G.
