Tere Ishk Mein and Dhurandhar did not directly face a box office clash as both films released on different dates. While Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's film hit cinemas on November 28, Ranveer Singh's thriller was released on December 5. Since day one, despite mixed responses, Tere Ishk Mein has been receiving good box office numbers, and it was expected that the film would cross Rs. 100 crore in one week. However, it faced competition from Ranveer's Dhurandhar, which is now unstoppable at the box office.

As per Sacnilk, Tere Ishk Mein opened with Rs. 16 crore, while Dhurandhar started with a solid Rs. 27 crore at the domestic box office. Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's film was going strong, but in the mid-way, it witnessed a great fall and collected Rs. 83.65 crore in one week. 

On the release date of Dhurandhar, Tere Ishk Mein collected only Rs. 3.75 crore and in 9 days, the film minted Rs. 93.1 crore. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar has already crossed Rs. 50 crore mark in just two days, and if the pace continues, it will cross the Rs. 100 crore mark by the 3rd or 4th day. 

About Tere Ishk Mein

Tere Ishk Mein is a romantic action drama film starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. It tells the story of Shankar, the short-tempered DUSU president (Dhanush), and research scholar Mukti (Kriti Sanon). 

Mukti makes Shankar the subject of her thesis, determined to prove that a violent person can be changed.
