Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya was one of the anticipated releases of February 2024. The film, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, was touted as an impossible love story. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, TBMAUJ hit the silver screen on February 9, 2024. It opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film got a slow start at the domestic box office as it collected only Rs 7.02 crore. However, the worldwide box office collection is different.
The makers of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya shared the official global box office figures of the Shahid and Kriti-starrer. The official Instagram page of Maddock Films has the worldwide box office collection of TBMAUJ, which is Rs 14.04 crore (gross). While sharing the same on Instagram, the makers wrote, "It’s raining love worldwide for Aryan, SIFRA, and their classic Indian family! (sic)."
Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya revolves around the love story of a human Aryan and a robot SIFRA. Besides Shahid and Kriti, the star cast of the movie includes veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia. Janhvi Kapoor also has a special appearance in the film.
A day before Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya was released, a special screening of the movie was held in Mumbai. Shahid Kapoor's wife, Mira Kapoor, was also present at the event. Once she was done watching TBMAUJ on the big screen, the star wife shared her review of the movie on her Instagram stories.
In the note, she mentioned Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya as a complete 'family entertainer'. Mira called her husband 'OG lover boy' and said that he made her heart melt. On the other hand, Kapoor felt Kriti's performance as SIFRA was 'picture-perfect'.
