We know that the promotions of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya are going in full swing these days. Recently, three songs of the romantic drama namely Laal Peeli Akhiyaan, Akhiyaan Gulaab, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Title Song became chartbusters of the week. In the backdrop of this development, Shahid and Kriti graced the famous singing reality show, Indian Idol Season 14. They were welcomed by judges and music maestros Shreya Ghoshal, Kumar Sanu, and Vishal Dadlani.
Shahid Kapoor recalls his first meeting with Kumar Sanu
In a promotional video released by Sony Entertainment Television, Shahid reminisced about his initial encounter with Kumar Sanu. According to Shahid, he had the privilege of meeting Kumar Sanu even before his Bollywood debut in "Ishq Vishk" in 2003. Shahid shared that he appeared in a music video for Kumar Sanu's song titled 'Kehna To Hai.' After the music video became a hit, Shahid and Kumar Sanu worked together in numerous films.
Shahid said, “Mujhe inke liye ek music video karna pada tha. Phir inhone kahan tha ki main teri pictures main bhi gaana gaa lunga. Aur uss music video main Sanu da chopper main aaye the aur main aur team zameen par wait kar rahe the. Humari team ne kahan ki Sanu daa 3 gaane gane aa rahe hai. Gaana gaa kar woh chopper main chale jayenge. (I had to do a music video for him. Then, he said that I would also sing in your films. And in that music video, Sanu da arrived in a chopper, while I and the team were waiting on the ground. Our team said that Sanu da would come to sing three songs. After singing the songs, he would leave in the chopper.)”
Hearing how Shahid narrated the story compelled Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Kriti Sanon to laugh out loud.
