Test: Madhavan, Siddharth and Nayanthara feature in a new intense poster

We know that the Aayutha Ezhuthu and Rang De Basanti duo, Madhavan and Siddharth have reunited for the project titled Test. The film, which will have Nayanthara as the leading lady, is directed by S Sashikanth of YNOT Studios.

Test team drops a new poster
On the occasion of Deepavali, the team dropped a brand new poster from the film, which features all the three actors. The poster doesn't reveal much about the characters, but all three of them are seen in an intense look. Siddharth, who shared the poster on his social media handle, captioned it, "In the test of darkness..You be the light (sic)!"

The film is said to be a sports drama which revolves around cricket. Madhavan had shared a video from the set a few months ago announcing that his portions were wrapped. He And it's a wrap on TEST. The best set of people I had the privilege of working with, a stunning debut director and and incredible incredible mind blowing co-star. You will all see (sic)."

The film to be a multilingual
Considering the actors are all pan-Indian faces, the film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Sashikanth has also doubled up as the producer of the film, along with Chakravarthy Ramachandra. Meera Jasmine, who had already worked with Madhavan in Run and Ayutha Ezhuthu, has joined the set. However, she hasn't worked with Nayanthara and Siddharth.

Technical crew
Popular singer Shakthisree Gopalan will make her debut as a music director with the project. The news was announced by music composer AR Rahman himself. While cinematography is by Viraj Singh, editing is by Suresh. Dinesh Subbarayan will be handling the stunts. The film is produced by Y Not Studios, which had earlier bankrolled Madhavan's Irudhi Suttru and Vikram Vedha, and Siddharth's Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi and Kaaviya Thalaivan.
