Noted Tamil actor Samuthirakani ventures into the digital world with the crime-thriller web series, Thadayam. He appears in the lead role of a cop, SI Athiyamaan, who probes several brutal murders which have chilling similarities. Navinkumar Palanivel has written and directed the series, which is said to be inspired by actual events from the late 1990s. Actress Sshivada also features in the series, along with Raj Tirandas, Munnar Ramesh, and Sundharpandyan.

Roslin

The Malayala series Roslin follows a teenager who has disturbing nightmares about a stalker. Though she confides in her parents, she does not find support. In a more shocking turn, the stalker turns up at her house as a guest. Actors Sanjana Dipu, Vineeth, Meena, and Hakim Shahjahan play the lead roles in the series, which has Jeethu Joseph as the showrunner.

Honey

The Telugu film Honey is about a couple who hatch an illegal plan to make a quick buck but land in trouble. Sri Chidambaram Garu follows a youth who has squint eyes, which forced him to wear glasses all the time. When he falls for a girl, she rejects him and he assumes it is because of eyes. How he overcomes his insecurities showcased in the film, which promises an engaging watch. Vinod Ratnam directed the low-budget film, which deserves to be on your watchlist.

Neeli Hakki

A family takes the crucial decision to shift to the city for a better life. How a little 10-year-old boy comes to terms with this and learns to adapt to the city ways is depicted in the movie, helmed by Ganesh Hegde. The film had a good festival run and even won a state award in 2020 but is only coming on OTT in 2026. The film was earlier said to drop last week, but is expected to finally make its OTT premiere this Friday.
