Before stepping into the new horizon, the celebrated actor is all set to finish the shooting of his 69th film, directed by H Vinoth. The movie, which is touted to be a mass action entertainer, has been tentatively titled Thalapathy 69. As per the latest updates, Thalapathy 69 now has an official title, which Vijay and H Vinoth are planning to officially announce soon.
Thalapathy 69 title announcement date revealed?
If the recent updates are to be believed, Thalapathy Vijay, H Vinoth, and the team have now finalised the title of their ambitious project. As per the latest updates, the makers of Thalapathy 69 are planning to reveal the film’s first look poster, featuring leading man Vijay, on the special occasion of New Year 2025. The official title of the H Vinoth directorial is also expected to be revealed along with the first look poster.

If the reports are to be believed, Thalapathy Vijay is set to play the role of police officer in Thalapathy 69, which marks his first collaboration with director H Vinoth. The movie is rumoured to be loosely based on Bhagavanth Kesari, the blockbuster Telugu film which features senior actor Balakrishna in the lead role. Pooja Hegde is appearing as the female lead opposite Vijay in the film, which stars Premalu actress Mamitha Baiju, in a pivotal role.
Bobby Deol is set to play the lead antagonist in Thalapathy 69, which features a massive star cast including Prakash Raj, Priya Mani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Narain, and others in the supporting roles. Sathyan Sooryan is the director of photography. Anirudh Ravichander composes the songs and the original score. Thalapathy 69 is produced by KVN Productions, the popular Kannada production banner which is set to step into Tamil cinema with the project.
