Arjun Sarja's new look has become the talk of the town. The actor was recently spotted with long hair, handlebar moustache and beard, which resembles that of Kamal Haasan's look in Virumandi. Now the buzz on social media is that the new look is for his upcoming film with Vijay, which is tentatively being referred to as Thalapathy67. The shoot for the film, helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is going in full swing. We hear that Arjun Sarja will play a crucial role in Thalapathy67 and that he is being paid a whopping amount for the same. Interestingly, this is the first time that Arjun is teaming up with Vijay and fans are excited to see the new combination.

The film has Sanjay Dutt as the prime antagonist, along with Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin and Sandy to name a few. The team had recently canned a portion in Kodaikanal, which featured Mysskin. They are now likely to head to Kashmir for the next leg of the shoot. Trisha is likely to play the leading lady in the film and if she indeed gets on board, the hit combo of Vijay and Trisha will be teaming up after a span of 14 years. Thalapathy67 is also said to be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.

In the meantime, Lokesh Kanagaraj had revealed that an update will be out in the first week of February and that it is likely to be a glimpse of Vijay's character. During the recent success party for his last release, Varisu, Vijay was seen sporting long hair and a long moustache. His look had taken the internet by storm.

Thalapathy67 marks Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's sophomore film after Master. Vijay played an alcoholic professor in the film named JD who is assigned to teach children at a juvenile home. Vijay Sethupathi played the prime baddie in the film and Master was a huge hit at the box office.
