As promised, the makers of Tovino Thomas’ upcoming film Thallumaala have unveiled a new first look poster featuring the star’s character. The poster, which puts Thomas’ charm and swagger to good use, introduces viewers to his character from the film.

Thomas shared the poster on his Instagram handle, which sees him sitting atop the hood of a car. Donned in a colourful blazer and matching pants with a chain around his neck, Thomas is the very picture of suave as he strikes a pose. The background is an array of colourful neon lights. In the post’s caption, Thomas introduces his character, ‘manavalan’, or groom, Wasim.

Aashiq Abu, Aparna Balamurali and Kunchako Boban too shared the new poster on their official social media handles.

The upcoming film is helmed by Khalid Rahman, from a script penned by Muhsin Parari and Ashraf Hamza. Parari, who made his directorial debut with KL 10 Patthu(2015), had been initially set to direct the film. The film went on floors last year in October.

Kalyani Priyadarshan, whose recent film appearances include Hridayam and Bro Daddy, will essay the role of the female lead in Thallumaala. The film also features Shine Tom Chacko in a pivotal role. The upcoming film is bankrolled by Ashiq Usman and has music composed by Vishnu Vijay.

Meanwhile, Thomas was last seen in Aashiq Abu’s thriller, Naradan, where he shared the screen with Sharafudheen and Anna Ben. The Minnal Murali star is also awaiting the release of his film Vaashi. Directed by Vishnu G Raghav, the latter also features Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.
