Maddock Films' another horror comedy movie, Thama, is all set to hit theaters in Diwali 2025 with a 'bloody' love story. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role, Thama is part of Maddock's horror-comedy universe, which includes films like Stree, Stree 2, Munjya, and Bhediya. In Thama, we can expect Varun Dhawan's werewolf from Bhediya's cameo. On August 18, the makers unveiled Ayushmann's first look s Alok in Thama. Following this, they have also released Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rashmika Mandanna, and Paresh Rawal's first looks.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays vampire in Thama

Maddock Films shared the first look at Nawazuiddin Siddiqui as a vampire. He is Yakshasan - Andhere ka badshah (The boss of darkness). His character is creepy, and in the picture, we can see a statue of a vampire while Nawazuddin wears a big red outfit. They have captioned the post, "Presenting Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Yakshasan - Andhere ka badshah. The World of Thama drops tomorrow at 11:11 am. This Diwali, the universe gives us a bloody love story in cinemas worldwide - #Thama"

Rashmika Mandanna and Paresh Rawal in Thama

At first glance, Rashmika Mandanna's character reminds us of Shraddha Kapoor, who has a superpower in Stree. Rashmika's character is introduced as Tadaka - Roshni ki ek hi paheli kiran (The only ray of light). She has worn a green dress while her hair is flowing in he air, giving a superwoman vibe.

On the other hand, Paresh Rawal reminds us of Pankaj Tripathi's Rudra in Stree, who is studious, sometimes confuses you, and has a research mentality. Introducing the character of Paresh, the makers wrote, "Presenting Paresh Rawal as Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal - Jo Hamesha Comedy Mein Tragedy Dhoondhte Hain (The one who always finds tragedy in a comedy)." His character indeed looks simple yet powerful.

About Thama

Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana is Alok. He is the only hope of humanity, almost reminding us of Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) from Stree.

The first teaser, aka the world of Thama, will drop on August 19 at 11:11 am. Fans have been expressing their excitement as they can't wait for the teaser.
