Plot of Thamma
The plot follows Alok (Khurrana), a journalist who falls for a mysterious girl named Tadaka (Mandanna) from a world of mythical creatures called "betaals". Alok is captured and offered to an ancient betaal, Yakshashan (Siddiqui), but Tadaka saves him, leading to a forbidden romance and a fight against an ancient evil.
Thamma is the fifth instalment of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) after Stree, Stree2, Bhediya, and Munjya. Thamma stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
