Thamma vs Bhediya: Ayushmann Khurrana-Aditya Sarpotdar hint at new MHCU film after Varun Dhawan's cameo goes viral

While Ayushmann Khurrana's Thamma receives flak for many things, there are two cameos which have become the talking points in the MHCU film. The first is Akshay Kumar as Sarkata and the other being Varun Dhawan's noticeable changed look from Bhediya to Thamma. The transformation, ahead of Bhediya 2, did not go unnoticed and became the talk of the town. During the time, Ayushmann Khurrana and Aditya Sarpotdar shared a news that could take the fans by surprise. They hinted at Thamma vs Bhediya as a feature film.

MHCU to introduce film on Thamma vs Bhediya?

"Thamma vs Bhediya aayega ab next pakka," Ayushmann said during Thamma promotions in Mumbai with Rashmika Mandanna and director Aditya Sarpotdar just a few hours back. Confirming the news, Aditya said, "Haan, aap demand kijiye, hum banaate rahenge." With this, it looks like the actor-director duo confirmed a full fledged movie on Thamma vs Bhediya.

The first time that Varun Dhawan was introduced as Bhediya, the warewolf was at an experimental stage. We already witnessed him go slightly rougher in Stree 2 but he evolved for Thamma and has grown into a beast. The cameo has mostly been welcomed for the kind of fight that unfolds between Betaal and Bhediya. The same happens after Bhediya looks at himself in the mirror and is shocked at his own new avatar.

Thamma 2 the last in MHCU line-up for now

So far, producer Dinesh Vijan has confirmed Thamma sequel will be a part of MHCU and will release after Mahayudh take place. Meanwhile, Bhediya 2 is scheduled to release soon. In fact, Aditya has maintained that Varun is after the director to start work on the movie soon.
