Thangalaan team to drop Chiyaan Vikram's special glimpse on THIS occasion

Here's the much-awaited glimpse from Chiyaan Vikram's Thangalaan. The team today announced that a sneak peek of the titular character will be revealed on the occasion of the actor's birthday on April 17. The film's producers dropped a picture of Vikram, in which he is seen holding a weapon and is looking at something intensely, on their social media handle, and captioned it, "Get ready for something powerful from the world of #Thangalaan! Witness a slice of flesh on #ChiyaanVikram's birthday 17th April, 2023 (sic).

 The raw and rustic drama, helmed by Pa Ranjith, will have Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan as the leading ladies and Pasupathy in a crucial role. Vikram, who was last seen at the audio launch of Ponniyin Selvan, had stated that he was back at KGF. He wrote on his social media handle, "#PS2 2 #Thangalaan. Back in KGF. Love 2 all the loves ones who waited till midnight. Sorry it got so late. And thank you for that love that only you can feel. And give in such abundance. (sic)." The actor has also been dropping pictures from his recent photo shoots which has his fans swooning over him.

The team, we hear, has recently wrapped up another schedule, which is reportedly from KGF, where majority of the portions are shot. It looks like the remaining portions will be canned in Madurai and some in Chennai. At this rate, it looks like the film will hit screens in the second half of the year.

The actor is soon to begin the promotions of the second instalment of the magnum opus Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. The team will be travelling to different cities just like they did last time and will be promoting the film aggressively to make it reach a wider audience. Vikram plays Crown Prince Aditha Karikalan in the film and his romantic portions with Nandini Devi, and her revenge, will be something to watch out for in the sequel.
