Thank God is continuing with its steady and consistent box office run. The sixth day of its theatrical run saw the fantasy comedy drama mint Rs 4 crore at the box office.

As expected, the weekend performance of the film saw a marginal increase. While the film had earned about Rs 3.30 crores on Friday, its earnings went up to Rs 3.70 crores and Rs 4 crores on Saturday and Sunday respectively, taking the total of its weekend box office earnings to Rs 7.7 crores. As of day 6, Sunday, the film’s total earnings are Rs 29.25 crores. The day by day breakup of the film’s collections are as follows:

Day 1 - Rs 8.10 crores

Day 2 - Rs 6 crores

Day 3 - Rs 4.15 crores

Day 4- Rs 3.30 crores

Day 5- Rs 3.70 crores

Day 6- Rs 4.00 crores

The film had been released in theatres on October 25, coinciding with Diwali, clashing with the release of Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez’s action adventure film, Ram Setu.

Thank God follows the story of Aayan Kapoor, an arrogant real estate broker who finds himself in a bind after raking up enormous amounts of debt. When he is rendered on the brink of life and death after meeting with an accident, he is visited by a divine entity called CG. The latter gives Aayan a chance to play the game of life, win and he gets to live, lose and Aayan will be sent to the fiery depths of Hell.

Sidharth Malhotra stars as Aayan, while Ajay Devgn essays the role of CG. Rakul Preet Singh portrays Aayan’s wife, Ruhi, a police officer. Nora Fatehi makes a special appearance in the film’s song Manike.

Thank God, directed by Indra Kumar, will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run.
