Thank God poster: Ajay Devgn to arrive on big screens as Chitragupt this Diwali

Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Thank God is among the highly anticipated films this year. After a much-await, the first poster from the movie has dropped that introduces the Singham star as Chitragupt. 

The latest poster sees Ajay sitting on a golden throne-like couch sporting a dashing all-black suit with night sunglasses. The latest image also informed the audience that the trailer of the film will be out on September 9. 

The Bollywood hunk took to his official Instagram handle to introduce his character from Thank God. The post reads, "This Diwali, Chitragupt is coming to play the game of life with you and your family! #ThankGod trailer out tomorrow. In cinemas on October 25. @sidmalhotra @rakulpreet (Sic)."

Reportedly, the film has plenty of VFX sequences and to get each of the scenes right, the makers had to delay the release of the movie as the making took longer than the expected time. 

Apart from Ajay, Rakul also shared the first ever poster from Thank God on her official Instagram handle.

Written and directed by Indra Kumar, the comedy-drama flick is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Anand Pandit, Markand Adhikari and Yash Shah under the banners named T-Series and Maruti International. Meanwhile, Aseem Bajaj is in charge of cinematography.

The famous song Manike Mage Hithe by the famous Sri Lankan singer Yohani is to be recreated in the film by the musician herself.

Thank God, which also has Nora Fatehi in a special appearance, is all set to have a theatrical release on October 25.
