Thank You For Coming co-producer Ektaa R Kapoor has sassy response to a netizen asking her to 'stop making adult movies'

Ektaa Kapoor has been in the industry for the longest time now. Kapoor has done everything from being the TV czarina to backing strong female-led films! Recently, she reunited with Rhea Kapoor for a film, Thank You For Coming, which has been granted an 'A' certificate by CBFC. Though her movie opened to a good response, Ektaa also faced criticism for bankrolling an 'adult' movie.

Netizen asks Ektaa R Kapoor to 'stop making adult movies'

A while ago, Ektaa Kapoor sportingly took all the criticisms that came her way on X (formerly Twitter). Thank You For Coming co-producer had sassy reply when a netizen asked her to 'stop making adult movies'.

"pls stop making adult movies (sic)," a netizen wrote. To this, Kapoor replied, "No I’m an adult so I will make adult movies (sic)."

Talking about her latest co-production venture, TYFC, Ektaa further mentioned, "ThankYouForComimg is a little mad movie made by mad crazy partner rhea that doesn’t smash patriarchy but tickles with feathers under its nose so all the bulls hit gets sneezed out !! There is only mad love for d film or unpalpable anger !!! (sic)."

She went on to add, "N me with my thrill issues wud want it no other way !!! From being trolled for ruining culture because it ‘ promotes ‘ self pleasure ( how that is ruining anything if ur keeping ur hands to yourself) to being applauded by indian n international press …(sic)."

The film had a theatrical release on October 6, 2023.
