Following the massive triumph of the party anthem Haanji, the makers of Thank You For Coming have released Desi Wine, which is touted to be the ultimate song for the wedding season. The song comes around during the wedding festivities of Bhumi Pednekar in the film, where there's a cocktail party and she and her girlfriends enjoy the time to the fullest.

About the song:

The video also gives a glimpse of the fact that Bhumi's ex-flings are coming around, and her girlfriends are shielding her from fooling around with them. The dance anthem ends with the dashing entry of Anil Kapoor, who makes a special appearance in the film.

Desi Wine, featuring Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi, is a dance number with a combination of upbeat rhythms and catchy lyrics for sure. However, it might give you major vibes from Veere Di Wedding song Tareefan

Musical elements

Desi Wine is composed by Qaran and sung by Nikita Gandhi, The Rish, and Arjun, while the lyrics are by Qaran and I.P. Singh.

Thank You for Coming will be released in theatres around the globe on October 6, 2023. Karan Boolani is the director; Radhika Anand and Prashasti Singh wrote the script; and Balaji Telefilms Limited and Anil Kapoor Film Communication Network Pvt. Ltd. produced it.

The film premiered in the Gala Presentations section of the 46th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 15, 2023.
