Thank You: Maaro Maaro features a charged up Naga Chaitanya in an adrenaline-pumping number

Naga Chaitanya, who’s scored consecutive successes recently with Love Story and Bangarraju, will look forward to continuing his victorious streak with Manam filmmaker Vikram K Kumar's directorial Thank You too. Produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film features Raashi Khanna, Malavika Nair and Avika Gor as the female leads.

The first single from Thank You, sung by Deepu, Prudhvi Chandra, lyricised by Viswa, Kittu Visapragada, was launched today. The angst-filled number features an aggressive Naga Chaitanya and has references to gang wars in colleges, battles over a game of sport and mirrors the never-say-die spirit of the young blood. The visuals and the rap elements complement the vibe of the number.

Maaro Maaro isn’t the typical, instantly appealing number you would expect from a composer like Thaman, but is very specific to the situation in the film and the protagonist’s life. Not all numbers are meant to be chartbusters and it’s likely that one would appreciate the song more after watching the film. One gets to see many animated discussions between Chaitanya, Vikram K Kumar and cinematographer PC Sreeram in the lyrical video.

The makers of Thank You received rave reviews for the teaser released recently. Naga Chaitanya and Vikram K Kumar had previously worked on Manam and are also collaborating for a web series for Amazon Prime Video, Dhootha. BVS Ravi has penned the story for the film that also stars Prakash Raj, Sai Sushanth Reddy and others in key roles. Thank You hits theatres on July 8.
