Thank You, the coming of age tale, is the second collaboration between Naga Chaitanya and director Vikram K Kumar after Manam. The film, also starring Raashi Khanna, Malvika Nair, Sai Sushanth Reddy and Avika Gor, was bankrolled by Dil Raju, Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations. After hitting the theatres on July 22, the film is gearing up for its premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

The Naga Chaitanya-Raashi Khanna starrer will have its OTT premiere on the streaming giant on August 11. The subscribers of Amazon Prime Video can watch the film in India and across 240 countries and territories across the globe, the platform made an official announcement today. Tulasi, Prakash Raj, Sampath, Easwari Rao, Srinivas Avasarala are seen in brief yet important roles in the film.

In a statement, Chaitanya shared that Thank You is a film very close to his heart and believes that the audience would relate to the emotional journey. He says the film focuses on the idea of gratitude, the need to be thankful for every good and bad thing in life. “We have to express ourselves fully. I think that will be the biggest takeaway for the audience from the movie,” he added.

Vikram K Kumar said that Thank You gave him an opportunity to team up with the best in the industry, be it production, the technicians or the cast. He apparently sat with the film’s script through the pandemic and empathised with its emotion. He called it a blessing to associate with a powerful team to tell this story with me. “I felt like everybody should live this story and experience it.”

S Thaman had scored the music for the film while BVS Ravi had written the story. PC Sreeram and Navin Nooli are the cinematographer and the editor respectively. Naga Chaitanya, whose Hindi debut Laal Singh Chaddha hits theatres week, also makes his OTT debut with Dhootha on Amazon Prime Video, a horror show helmed by Vikram K Kumar, set to stream in early 2023.
