Thank You, the second collaboration between Manam director Vikram K Kumar and actor Naga Chaitanya, is set to hit theatres on July 22. Raashi Khanna, Malavika Nair, Avika Gor play the female leads in the film written by BVS Ravi. Dil Raju and Shirish have bankrolled the film under Sri Venkateswara Creations. S Thaman has scored the music for the coming-of-age tale which has cinematography by the legendary PC Sreeram. Ahead of the release, the makers have shared a fun promo featuring its lead stars today.
Naga Chaitanya and Raashi Khanna came together for a fun chat to promote Thank You. In the interview, they were asked to respond to every question in five seconds to win it. Unsurprisingly, in most rounds, the rules went for a toss and the stars took more time to answer. The result was an interesting chat where they were questioned about everything under the sun, right from popular pickup lines to their proud materialistic possessions to math formulae to cars and more.
Hey, Ya and What's up would be my three most-used pickup lines, said Naga Chaitanya while Raashi shared she doesn't believe in the idea of pickup lines. While the male star was sportive enough to answer questions about dog breeds, materialistic possessions and cars, it looked like the topics didn't hold great fascination for the latter. Regarding the excuses they would give to escape a bad date, Raashi said she would merely walk out of it while Chaitanya responded he would do his best to respect the girl and stay till the date ended.
In response to a question about math formulae, Naga Chaitanya said that 100% Love is the only reason that he still remembers algebra to an extent and Raashi too didn't fare too badly while quoting a few formulae. The final question revolved around the film's title Thank You, where the duo came together to translate it across five languages. Though the stars had fun in the promo, the makers should've planned a more interesting strategy to promote the film than this vague questionnaire that doesn't do much to pique your curiosity.
