Thank You is a very crucial film for the Telugu industry, given how almost every second film has faced rejection at the box office since Major and Vikram. Starring Naga Chaitanya and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles, the trailer of the film, released a few days ago to positive responses all over. Touted to be a story of self-discovery, Thank You follows the story of Abhiram, played by Naga Chaitanya, and how he navigates his way through life and love across various ages.

Though the buzz surrounding Thank You, helmed by Vikram K Kumar, was very minimal till the recent times, the makers deferred its release date by a few weeks and left no stone unturned to create some noise about the film. It looks like their efforts have been placed in the right direction. It's very evident that the film's target audience is the younger lot across the metros, the multiplex crowd and the promo promises a film catered to their tastes.

During the promotional interviews, the makers have suggested that Naga Chaitanya, in the film, transforms from a happy-go-lucky boy into a stone-cold man who's arrogant about his success. Malvika Nair, who plays his love interest across his teenage years, is said to be playing a crucial role as well. One needs to give it to the writer of BVS Ravi that the story of Thank You has its heart at the right place and is much needed for a few, who are too self obsessed to care for the world around them.

The film has been made on a huge canvas. The scenic locations captured through the lens of PC Sreeram, the emphatic background score of S Thaman, the casting, have enough in them to convince movie lovers to hit theatres. The casting of Avika Gor, who reportedly plays a sister-like role to Naga Chaitanya, in the film also adds to its intrigue. The trailer has already hinted at a minimum-guarantee product. Will the Manam combo of Naga Chaitanya and Vikram K Kumar deliver again? All eyes are on July 22.
