Netflix is on roll with a barrage of upcoming releases. The OTT giant has now unveiled the posters for its highly anticipated project titled Thar. The upcoming film stars the real-life father-son duo Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor for the first time alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh and Mukti Mohan. While the character images of the male actors have already been out last week, the makers have now released a few more posters from the film that features the two actresses.

The makers took Fatima and Mukti's character images on Instagram and shared them with a caption that reads, "There's more to people and places than what meets the eye. But right now, it's all eyes on @fatimasanashaikh and @muktimohan as they get ready to take the desert by the storm in #Thar. Coming soon on Netflix! #HerKahaaniHaiZaruri (sic)."

The two actresses can be seen in the regional attires of Rajasthan, wearing the sets of traditional Ghagra Choli with ethnic pieces of jewellery.

Anil Kapoor is serving as the producer under the banner named Anil Kapoor Film Company (AKFC). Thar marks the directorial debut of Raj Singh Chaudhary. 

Talking about the film, the actor-producer mentioned in a recent statement that the upcoming movie pays tribute to the genre of the classic Western is a first for Indian cinema and audiences. Reportedly, it has been shot at some of the most aesthetic locations in the northern part of India.

Thar, which is also being called the revenge noir film, also features Satish Kaushik and Sanjay Bishnoi in important roles. The forthcoming film is set to premiere on Netflix soon.
