The 50 is nearing its grand finale, and major shocking decisions gave the reality show its top six confirmed contestants aiming for the trophy. Yes, out of the remaining contestants who were gunning for the trophy, 12 remain (expected to be six by the semi-finale episode held tonight) and will fight for the big cash prize as well as trophy. Here’s everything you need to know…

The 50 grand finale will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The reality show comes to an end after commencing as soon as the month of February began. It will be available for digital streaming before airing on TV. The finale episode of the show, which is hosted by a masked Lion, will be available for streaming on JioHotstar at 9 pm, followed by the TV version commencing from 10.30 pm tomorrow.
Much like what was seen on Squid Game, the cash prize goes up every time a player is eliminated from the reality show. Although unlike Squid Game where it is the fight to literal death, thankfully with The 50, it just means that the contestant’s journey on the reality show has come to an end, and their loss is somebody else’s monetary benefit. The latest episode of the series began with the cash prize at Rs. 30,44,000. With six players leaving the mahal in one night, the amount was raised up to Rs. 36,44,000 (with 6 lakhs being added to the money pot).

Rajat Dalal, Faisal Shakh (Mr. Faisu) and Shiv Thakare were given a simple, medium and hard choice and they chose the hardest part – to eliminate six players ahead of the grand finale. Rajat Dalal got Hamid and Siwet out. Faisu evicted Arushi and Yuvika. Shiv Thakare, still hesitating, eventually got Lovekesh Kataria and Lakshya out of the game.
Thus, the current top 12 contestants of The 50 include Rajat Dalal, Faisal Shakh (Mr. Faisu), Shiv Thakare, Krishna Shroff, Immortal Kaka, Prince Narula, Manisha Rani, Vikrant Singh, Ridhi Dogra, Archana Gautam, Nehal Chudasma and Urvashi Dholakia. By tonight i.e. the semi-finale night, we expect the contestants to come down to top six/top 5 for the trophy race.
It is to be noted that while the Grand Finale episode was shot towards the end of February and a winner might have been locked in, the makers played a smart move and shot a take with all the top five contestants so as to keep the real winner a secret. Thus, the actual winner will only be known tomorrow i.e. on March 22, 2026 after the official announcement.
