Ryan Reynold's time travel movie, The Adam Project has become the talk of the town ever since it was released on Netflix. Directed by Shawn Levy, the film has been receiving fairly positive responses. One of the fans of the movie seems to be the Indian filmmaker Karan Johar.

Karan recently had a chance to interact with the director and shared his thoughts about the movie. In the discussion, released by Netflix, Karan also talks about his favourite scene in the movie. Karan tells Levy that his favourite scene from the film is the bar scene. He called the scene, 'beautifully crafted, written and performed'. He said it was shot so simple that it felt like the camera was just doing its job and there was no fuss. "There was no treatment. It was just awesome. From close ups and over the shoulder cutting, it was just magical. I loved the moment where she (Jennifer Garner) felt something and she went running onto the street and he wasn't there," he said.

Shawn Levy then recalled that Ryan Reynolds had rewritten the scene himself, as a love letter to his mother. "It started with Ryan Reynolds rewriting the scene. When we started rehearsing the scene first thing in the morning, we felt like, oh, it's happening. In those moments, for one thing, stop, rehearsing, stop, start filming," he said adding that he had decided to say a bare minimum, just roll the cameras and let them move slowly in on each actor as the intimacy of the scene develops. "I wanted to get visually more intimate with the actors, and I truly feel like that was a day where I didn't want the director's hand to be obvious. I wanted it to be trusting,” he said.

Meanwhile, The Adam Project is streaming currently on Netflix.
