Ryan Reynolds is gearing up for his next release on Netflix, The Adam Project. The makers have released an official trailer of the sci-fi fantasy movie. Directed by Shawn Levy, the film also stars Jennifer Garner, Zoe Saldana, Mark Ruffalo, Catherine Keener, and Walker Scobell.
The trailer opens with a car chase scene where the younger and older versions of Ryan Reynolds are driving through a forest, trying to escape attacks from robots. Even during such high-octane and intense scene, Reynolds does not fail to crack you up with his humour. The video shares a glimpse of the movie, showing how the two get together to save the planet after they realise they need to stop their father, Mark Ruffalo from inventing time machine.

Reynolds is seen teasing Marvel in the trailer too. The Deadpool actor doesn't seem to be a fan of the MCU in the movie. When the younger Adam suggests about multiverse, older Adam (Reynolds) says, "We watch too many movies." The film looks promising, packed with action and the classic Reynold's humour.
The film marks the second collaboration between the director Levy and Reynolds after their sci-fi film, Free Guy. But The Adam Project is completely different. The film was earlier announced in 2012 and reportedly, Tom Cruise was supposed to do the film. However, it ended up with Reynolds years later after Netflix acquired the rights to the drama from Paramount Pictures.
The film is all set to release on Netflix on March 11, 2022.
