Netflix drops the new poster for The Archies, hinting at Archie caught between Betty and Veronica.

Finally, the Zoya Akhtar film, The Archies, based on the popular comics of the same name, will premiere on Netflix in the coming week. The film features an ensemble cast mainly of newcomers, including Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda. Ahead of the release, the makers have dropped a new poster for the film.
Love triangle unveiled
The poster teases a love triangle between Agastya as Archie, Khushi as Betty Cooper, and Suhana as Veronica Lodge. In the photo, we see the three actors sharing a milkshake, and while Agastya looks into the camera, his leading ladies are lovestruck looking at him.
The poster was shared by Netflix with a caption stating, "Archie might not have do dil, but Pop’s has two straws to keep his loved ones close. Meet The Archies on December 7, only on Netflix!"

Zoya Akhtar discusses casting process and character development
Earlier, while talking about the film, Zoya stated at the music launch that it's an actor's project, but a tale and the characters that fit it are what one focuses on. The Archies approached her when they were 17 years old in the film, and teens must take part. These actors had to be the most recent additions since they were the best of the lot. After months of tryouts, the filmmaker chose the final cast. These nine artists were the best of the best after eight months of auditions.
Zoya and Reema Kagti's Tiger Baby and Sharad Devarajan's Graphic India produce the Hindi adaptation of Archie comics. Netflix will debut the film on December 7, 2023.
