The Archies premiere - Did Khushi Kapoor wear Sridevi's gown for the big night?

It appears that Khushi Kapoor paid a tribute to her mother, the late actress Sridevi, during the premiere of her debut movie The Archies in Mumbai. Khushi was seen in a dress that looked similar to Sridevi’s. This appears to be her way of remembering her mother on her special day. Sridevi had donned the dress during an awards show and her dress became memorable.

The Archies premiere is taking place in Mumbai. Various celebrities graced the event and Khushi was seen posing on the red carpet alone. However, it was enough since her dress caught people’s attention.

Is it same or similar?

Did Khushi really wear Sridevi’s dress at the premiere, is one question that only she can answer. She either tried to recreate the look through a new dress or she fit into her mother’s dress. The difference between the two looks were the styling. While Sridevi kept it simple and left her hair open, Khushi wore a diamond choker and let her hair in a bun. She also had her arms covered in tattoos and unlike Sridevi, did not carry a small wallet.

Janhvi had also recreated Sridevi’s look

Back when her debut film Dhadak had released, Janhvi Kapoor had also worn a saree that was similar to Sridevi’s. Janhvi had attended the National Awards in order to collect the award of behalf of her mother for the movie MOM. This was back in 2018, when the 65th National Awards took place.

Khushi’s Bollywood debut

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor is also set to make her Bollywood debut with The Archies. She will be making her debut, much like Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri’s daughter Suhana and Amitabh Bachchan-Jaya Bachchan’s grandson, Agasthya Nanda. Both Suhana and Agasthya were seen at the premiere with their respective family members. Apart from SRK and Gauri, Aryan Khan and AbRam also attended the event.
