Over the weekend, Arijit Singh, during his live performance at an Abu Dhabi concert, gave a glimpse into his The Archies song In Raahon Mein. Now, the official audio track from the film is out, and it's indeed a peppy track.

A peppy track

In Raahon Mein marks the debut of the enchanting vocals of Arijit Singh in Zoya Akhtar's world, who has joined The Archies on this track. Javed Akhtar wrote and Shankar Ehsaan Loy composed this musical treat for the upcoming film of the same name. Featuring Agastya Nanda, Dot, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda in the movie, the song is excellent for a journey or just to celebrate life with your loved ones.

Zoya Akhtar's collaboration with Arijit Singh

Earlier, while talking about Arijit's song in The Archies, Zoya told Mirchi Plus, "Yes! It is my first collaboration with him. So this song was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy; they have done almost 6-7 songs on this album. And this is their jam! So we talked and said that this song is a very “feel good” song, you know. And when we were talking about who should do this song and who should sing it, we thought of Arijit. Well, I have never heard Arijit sing this kind of song, but when he recorded and sent it to us in three days, he changed the song! When we all heard the song in the studio, we were all like, Oh my God, because he added such a hop to it, it’s like your heart is sworn with it!"

Zoya Akhtar directs The Archies, a film based on the well-known American comic book series. In this film, fictional high school students Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, and Reggie Mantle work together to save a park from being torn down by developers while dealing with love and friendship in the 1960s.

Netflix will premiere the film on December 7, 2023.
