The Archies song Va Va Voom announcement: Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan all set to bring retro vibes with peppy beats

After Sunoh, the makers of The Archies are all set to unveil the second song from the film. Titled Va Va Voom, the peppy track is a retro dance number where the whole cast comes and shakes their legs together. A glimpse of it was earlier shown in the teaser for the film. The song will feature the lead cast, namely Agastya Nanda, Dot, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda.

Tejas sings the two-minute, eight-second-long song Va Va Voom. Shankar Ehsaan Loy composed the track, with the lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar.

The ensemble, all decked out in period garb, stands in a circle on what could be a carousel, setting the scene for a lively dance sequence. The song will be released tomorrow, that is, November 3.

The Archies has a star-studded cast portraying the roles of well-known figures from the comic book series of the same name. Khushi Kapoor plays Betty Cooper, Suhana Khan is Veronica Lodge, and Agastya Nanda is Archie Andrews. Other cast members include Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones, Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley, and Aditi 'Dot' Saigal as Ethel Muggs. Interestingly, Khushi, Suhana, and Agastya are making their acting debuts in movies with The Archies.

Sunoh, the first track, introduced us to these characters and their colourful universe in a way that was both uplifting and relaxing. There's a lot of buzz surrounding the picture thanks to Va Va Voom, and more promotional material is on the way. The movie, which Zoya Akhtar is directing, will premiere on Netflix on December 7.

Meanwhile, as per the latest reports, Shah Rukh Khan is likely to have a cameo in The Archies. However, the makers are yet to confirm the report.
