The Archies teaser: Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor's musical movie takes us on a nostalgic joyride

The eagerly anticipated teaser for The Archies is now out, and it lives up to your expectations. It's has all the elements including fun, adventure, heartbreak and love. 

Now that the teaser is out, we can say that The Archies is a flawless adaptation of the legendary comic strip, which has a significant impact on popular culture. The young and talented cast, which includes Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, as well as other newbies Vedang Raina, Dot, Mihir Ahuja, and Yuvraj Menda, all look fantastic in their roles in this musical movie. 

A train arrives at Riverdale station in the teaser's opening scene. The town has a retro with quirky vibes and amazing backgroud score. The Riverdale group is next shown in teaser where Suhana's Veronica and Khushi's Betty dancing merrily the night away at a party. While the protagonists experience an up-and-down journey through love, friendship, and heartbreak, the teaser makes you nostalgic as it's beautifully shown. 

Taking to Instagram, Netflix India shared the teaser. The caption on the post read, "You’ve seen them in comics, in books, and in Riverdale — but this time around, you’ll see them in India! Set in the 60’s, The Archies builds a world that’s both familiar and new. Here’s your first look."

During Netflix's Tudum event in Brazil, the teaser for The Archies was released. Suhana Khan, the daughter of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of the iconic actress Sridevi, make their acting debuts in Zoya Akhtar's adaptation of stories from Archies Comics. The movie also stars Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina.

The movie, directed by Zoya Akhtar, will be available on Netflix's OTT service. The movie has yet to have its official release date announced.
