The Art of Sara is a Korean mystery thriller about Sarah Kim (Shin Hae-sun), a woman who builds a fake luxury brand identity to infiltrate Seoul's elite. She does this only for her fabricated world to collapse when a murder victim is mistaken for her, prompting a detective (Lee Jun-hyuk's Park Mu-gyeong) to uncover her deep secrets, multiple false identities and dark motives, to explore ambition and deceit.
Sarah Kim creates a glamorous, high-society image as a luxury brand president, but it's all a facade to gain access to the wealthy. Her carefully crafted life explodes when a body identified as hers turns up, leading to a murder investigation.
Following this, detective Park Mu-gyeong investigates, uncovering back layers of Sarah's past, revealing hidden identities, lies, and sinister motives. However, the core question is: Who is the real Sarah Kim, and did she truly die, or is this part of a larger scheme?
This series is a noir thriller that explores the psychology of deception and the consequences when a life built on lies falls apart.
