Story:

The Bad Batch lose their ship and are determined to find it back. They learn many things along the way.

Review:

The latest episode of The Bad Batch season 2, Retrieval, is just the world of Star Wars but it’s idiocy at the beginning itself. Wrecker is definitely to be blamed for that. The depressing story commences as soon as Omega comes in the picture. Nonetheless, it is not fair to judge the episode so early on.

Benni comes into the picture. She’s the mystery you were waiting for since the last episode. He comes with Makko, who is the definition of prude.

Hunter’s re-entry is a classic. It works pretty well too. The Bad Batch against Benni is smooth.

Tech barely has any role this time. He’s his usual geek self only for a brief period.

The Star Wars music is legendary in the episode. It’s not best use of the music but works wonders every single time.

Omega’s trust in Hunter is the best part of this episode. Wrecker definitely proves himself this time and it is worth it. In short, The Bad Batch is back in all its glory.

Verdict:

At long last, The Bad Batch gets better. The story does go somewhere and there is the Star Wars vibe to the show, which was missing for so long.
