The Ba***ds of Bollywood: Bobby Deol highly praises Aryan Khan's maturity and hard work; 'He’s a perfectionist'

The Ba***ds of Bollywood marks Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's debut as a director. The much-awaited series will focus on the behind-the-scenes of the glitzy world. In the series, Lakshay, Raghav Juyal, Bobby Deol, and many other actors will be seen making cameos like SRK, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, SS Rajamouli, and more. Ahead of the release, Bobby praised Aryan as a director and also opened up about his hard work and perseverance.

Speaking to India Today, Bobby Deol spoke about Aryan Khan's calibre as the debutant director. He said that he had met him a few times when he was growing up and that he had always been a very well-mannered kid. However, he had recently interacted with Aryan, even before the topic of his becoming a director arose. "And I found something very special about him. Not once did I know that this boy would be calling me to work with him," Bobby said. 

Having seen Aryan as a child and now as a young man and a filmmaker, Bobby said that he feels proud of this journey. The Animal actor shared, "I think he's a child who is a man, but I call him a child because he's like my son. And he has this special gift, which he does not take for granted. He has used that gift to his best ability on our show. He has just really worked hard."

Praising Aryan’s commitment on the set of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Bobby revealed that he was impressed with the young director’s maturity. Aryan's focus, his conviction, his obsession, and his passion were impeccable. As per Bobby, Khan does not live in a dream world; he lives in the real world, and that is the reason why he's so mature as a director. Bobby also said that Aryan can understand every emotion so well.

Lastly, he added, "That's why when you see the promo or watch the series, you’ll realise how he brought out the best in every actor. He made us work very hard on set. At certain moments, we wondered, why were we doing so much? But as we kept going, we realised it brought out the best in us. And he’s a perfectionist. I think that’s a mutual feeling we all share about his way of directing."
