Earlier in 2025, Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's directorial debut project, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, was announced. The teaser has already created a buzz, and fans are eagerly awaiting the official release date. Amid this, SRK hosted an #AskSRK session on X where Netflix India announced that the first look will be released on August 17, and as promised, they have unveiled the first look, and it looks promising as ever.

The 1-minute and 37-second first look video of Aryan Khan's The Ba***ds of Bollywood opens with Shah Rukh Khan's dialogue from Mohabbatein. A voiceover begins with a romantic love story-like atmosphere and ends with a strong reaction, which evokes that all-too-familiar memory of the Hindi cinema. With this, Aryan also made his acting debut in his debut directorial project.
The voice might remind you of Shah Rukh Khan, but it is all Aryan Khan. Aryan's facial expression also mirrors his father's. Set against a filmic backdrop, the first glimpse hints at a generational shift, where the romance of the past meets the perspective of a new storyteller. T
The Ba***ds of Bollywood is an unconventional series that mixes self-awareness with seductive humor. Aryan takes centre screen for the first time, teasing his debut series acclaiming, “Bollywood - jisse aapne saalon se pyaar bhi kiya aur vaar bhi kiya, main bhi wohi karunga, bohot saara pyaar… aur thoda sa vaar.”

On August 16, Shah Rukh Khan hosted an interactive session on X where one fan asked him about his favorite movie or show he has watched this year. To this, SRK replied, "Seen a bit of Ba***ds of Bollywood. That was very endearing and funny."
On the other hand, another fan asked, "When are you planning to launch Aryan Khan as a hero? I’d love to see him in a superhero role," to which SRK quirkily replied, "Give him love as a Director in Ba***ds of Bollywood when u watch it. Abhi ghar mein competition nahi chahiye."
Reviewing the series, SRK also added, "Its very good. You all see and decide. but its very entertaining and wacky and emotional. Honest review!"
