Now, in a new interview, Rajat Bedi, who also played a key role in the series, confirmed that The Ba***ds of Bollywood season 2 is in the works.

If you have already watched The Ba***ds of Bollywood, then you might have noticed that the series has ended with a cliffhanger. When Aasman (Lakshya) came to know that Ajay Talvar (Bobby Deol) is his biological father, he questioned his mother, Neeta Singh (Mona Singh), whether she had ever loved his foster father. The last scene showed that Neeta and Ajay were having a chat after the big revelation, while Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhari) and Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi) were coming from behind.
Following this, Freddy said that he would make the biggest family drama ever and subtly hinted that the plot would be based on the relationship between Neeta and Ajay. When Freddy said, "The name of the picture will be," the screen showed "The Bastards of Bollywood. So, The Ba***ds of Bollywood season 2 might be based on that. On the other hand, Aasman signed a contract with Ghafoor. It is yet to be seen whether Aasman gets a chance to lead a Karan Johar film or not.
